Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Hello, I am Dr. Maxine Notice. I am a professional counselor with experience practicing in New York, New Hampshire, and Nebraska. My clinical work has allowed me to serve clients in a variety of settings. I work best with helping clients dealing with issues of depression, stress, relationship issues, and unexpected life adjustments. My work in commuity mental health clinics, and hospital settings has made me well rounded in helping clients and their family members adjust to illness, pain management, mental health diagnosis, and grief/loss. I use a series of evidence based practices including cognitive behavior therapy, and solution focused intervention to help clients learn effective skills to gain control over their current life circumstances. I assist clients by creating action plans, tailored specifically to meeting their goals. I am vigilant with staying aware of the latest research, and treatment methods to provide my clients with the most relevant resources to help them succeed.
Most importantly, I recognize that life’s struggles can be overwhelming and challenging. My goal is to provide you with practical solutions and tools you can apply in all aspects of your life. As my client, we will begin services where you are, while assisting you in identifying healthy solutions to your problems. It is my belief that most people have the ability to grow and build on their own strengths; however, at times, need empowerment and encouragement. Therapy is a collaborative process and I will assist you to learn, grow, and make positive changes that can result in a more fulfilling life.

Many people ask whether online therapy can truly help. For common issues such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and navigating life changes, evidence shows that remote therapy can be as effective as in-person care.
A major benefit is flexibility – individuals can connect with a therapist in the way that fits their life best, whether by video call, phone session, live chat, or in-app messaging. This range of options makes it easier to schedule sessions and maintain continuity of care.
Licensed professionals provide online therapy, and clients may switch therapists at any time if they feel a different fit would be more helpful. For many people, remote therapy offers a convenient and effective path to addressing everyday mental health concerns and making meaningful progress toward their goals.
