Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I believe life is a process filled with opportunities to learn and grow. I see myself as a guide to help you travel down difficult paths when you feel stuck, lost, or helpless. I will not give you answers but I will help you search for them. The counseling process is just that – a process. While there are no guarantees for the outcome of the counseling, I will work with you to determine counseling goals and treatment plans to help you in your situation. I utilize an Attachment based focus as part of therapy incorporating CBT and DBT techniques. Should the need arise, I can offer a Christian and Biblical perspective.
Prior to becoming a counselor, I worked in the defense and telecom industries. I was married for 25 years until my wife succumbed to a rare form of dementia. I took care of her the last six years of her life while I was also learning to become a counselor.
I understand the effects of dementia, life as a caregiver, depression, grief and loss as well as the experience of starting over. Life can be difficult. Do not travel these difficult paths alone. Counseling has become a third career for me but talking to and helping people has been a lifelong experience and joy. I am licensed in Texas and Arkansas.

William Rusnak approaches counseling as a collaborative process that supports learning and growth through life’s challenges. He frames himself as a guide who helps clients navigate difficult paths when they feel stuck, lost, or helpless, focusing on helping them search for answers rather than providing them.
William works from an attachment-based perspective and integrates cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) techniques into treatment. He partners with clients to set counseling goals and develop treatment plans tailored to their situations while acknowledging that outcomes cannot be guaranteed.
Before becoming a counselor, William worked in the defense and telecommunications industries. He was married for 25 years and cared for his wife during the final six years of her life after she developed a rare form of dementia, an experience that has informed his understanding of dementia, caregiving, depression, grief, loss, and starting over.
Counseling became William’s third career, though supporting and talking with people has been a lifelong interest. He brings six years of clinical experience to his practice and is licensed as a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas (TX LPC 77592) and in Arkansas (AR LPC P2305002). He provides services in Arkansas and can offer a Christian and Biblical perspective when it is requested by a client.
Many people wonder whether meeting with a therapist online can make a meaningful difference. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or navigating life changes, online therapy has been shown to be comparable in effectiveness to traditional in-person care.
A major benefit of online therapy is flexibility. Clients can connect with therapists in the format that fits their needs and routines – video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging – making it easier to incorporate therapy into a busy life.
These services are delivered by licensed professionals who work to support clients through a range of issues, and clients may choose to switch therapists if they prefer a different fit. For many people, online therapy offers a practical and effective option for getting support without rearranging their entire schedule.
