Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the state of Illinois and earned my M.Ed. in Counseling from DePaul University. I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Iowa in Psychology and Human Relations.
I have experience working in non-profits with at-risk young adults in the city of Chicago as well as experience in private practice working with a myriad of diagnoses including depression, anxiety, adjustment, ADHD, among several others. However, I am less concerned with the clinical diagnosis and more focused on how that impacts your social, occupational, and intrapersonal functioning. I strive to tailor all sessions individually to meet your unique needs.
While working with me, you can expect a safe and confidential setting to help accomplish your goals. I am well versed in CBT, DBT, mindfulness, and psychodynamic approaches to treatment. I appreciate an integrative approach to best suit your needs. Further, as a Certified Mental Health Integrative Medicine Provider I understand the effects nutrition, activity, and environmental factors can and do have on mental health. Looking through a holistic lens we can explore how best to keep your mind, body, and spirit balanced while achieving your individualized goals.
I look forward to working together.

Christine Savas is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor practicing in Illinois who holds a master of education in counseling from DePaul University and an undergraduate degree in psychology and human relations from the University of Iowa. She brings eight years of clinical experience across community non-profit work with at-risk young adults in the city of Chicago and in private practice serving people with a range of concerns.
Her clinical work has included support for depression, anxiety, adjustment issues, and ADHD among other presentations, though she focuses less on diagnostic labels and more on how symptoms affect daily, social, and occupational functioning. Christine customizes each session to the individual needs of the person she is working with, tailoring approaches to meet practical goals.
She uses an integrative treatment style that draws on cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, mindfulness practices, and psychodynamic ideas to find what fits best for each client. In addition, as a Certified Mental Health Integrative Medicine Provider, Christine incorporates awareness of nutrition, activity, and environmental influences when exploring strategies to support mental well-being.
Clients can expect a professional, supportive setting aimed at helping them reach their goals. Christine looks forward to working together with individuals seeking practical, compassionate support for stress, anxiety, relationship difficulties, self-esteem concerns, depression, compassion fatigue, LGBT-related issues, family conflict, trauma and abuse, grief, sleep disorders, career challenges, coping with life changes, and coaching needs.
Many people wonder whether remote therapy can really help. For typical concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or navigating life transitions, online therapy has been shown to be just as effective as traditional in-person sessions.
A major benefit is flexibility. Clients can choose the communication method that fits their needs – video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging – which makes it easier to fit care into a busy schedule and to engage in therapy from familiar surroundings.
Licensed professionals provide the care and clients can change therapists if they are seeking a different fit. This combination of convenience and professional support makes online therapy a practical option for many people seeking help with common mental health and life concerns.
