Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I am a fully trained & qualified therapist with 20 years of professional work experience. I am a registered, accredited member of The National Counselling Society in the UK. I adhere to their code of ethics and professional standards and attend clinical supervision on a monthly basis. I trained as a integrative therapist but later also studied and trained in Trauma, CBT, Addiction and Motivational Interviewing.
I have had the privilege of working with a wide and varied range of clients, and the issues they bring to sessions. I have vast experience working with trauma, anxiety, depression, self harm, grief & loss. I have worked extensively with clients impacted by conflict/war related trauma. I blend elements from different counselling approaches, and my training, based on the individual person & their needs. This helps build a strong and honest therapeutic relationship, creating a solid foundation for the work.
Counselling is about change, which can seem a bit scary for most of us, at times. I can provide a professional, confidential service, where you can discuss any difficulties you are currently experiencing. Throughout the therapeutic process, I will fully support you to explore and identify factors that may be contributing to how you are feeling and work with you, to encourage any change you feel will be of benefit to you or any goals you’d like to meet.
If my approach sounds like it might be helpful to you, please feel free to get in touch. I truly believe that you are the expert in your life and that you have many strengths, qualities and personal resilience that will help you in overcoming things that are challenging. I am here to support you throughout that process .
