About

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Florida. I attended school later in life and I have worked in different areas of social work. The areas include working with children and families that are involved in abuse situations; crisis counseling; working with adolescents in a diversion program; family counseling; and as a school social worker. I also worked with children who had emotional and behavioral problems, and substance abuse issues. I co-facilitated parenting groups that taught parents how to communicate with their adolescent children.
I am compassionate, empathetic, and I care deeply about people being happy. I am easy to talk to and nonjudgmental. I believe that everyone is equal and deserves to be treated with respect.
My goal as a therapist is for people to reach their full potential and be satisfied with where they are in life. My approaches include Solution Focused Therapy, Systems Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Writing Therapy. I work with individuals and couples.
Entering into therapy is the first step towards making positive changes and I want to be a part of your journey.
My hours are flexible and include evening and weekend availability.

Is Online Therapy the Right Step Toward Better Mental Health?

Many people ask whether virtual therapy can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or navigating life changes, online therapy can be just as effective as traditional in-person sessions for most individuals.

One major advantage of remote therapy is flexibility. Clients can connect in the format that suits them best – video sessions, phone calls, live chat, or in-app messaging – which makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy schedule.

Licensed professionals provide online care, and clients are able to change therapists if they feel a different fit would be better. This approach can make therapeutic support more accessible while maintaining the same focus on addressing emotional and practical concerns.
