Kiliko Jones

Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships

About

I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), and National Certified Counselor (NCC) with about 13 years of experience in the counseling field. I graduated in 2010 from New York University with my MA in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness, and in 2008 from New York University with my BA in Psychology. I have experience treating children, adolescents, adults, and families. I have treated individuals with anxiety, depression, addiction, personality disorders, bipolar disorder, trauma, and adjustment to changes. I have also provided healthcare counseling around chronic/debilitating illness and end-of-life planning. I am comfortable and experienced with providing therapy to a diverse population.

My style is more eclectic when approaching therapy since it’s important for me to tailor therapy to an individual’s needs. I’ve been trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

My goal is to foster a therapeutic relationship where a person feels safe, not judged, and understood. My style is warm and I will take my time to understand what’s going on for you, then work with you collaboratively to figure out how to address your issues. I am here to help support you through your challenges, so please feel free to reach out and we can start this journey together.

Is Online Therapy the Right Step Toward Better Mental Health?

For many common concerns — including stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and navigating life transitions — online therapy can be a practical and effective option that compares favorably with traditional in-person care for these issues. It offers a way to receive professional support without needing to travel to an office, which can make consistent treatment easier to maintain.

One of the main benefits is flexibility. People can connect with a therapist using the method that works best for them: video sessions, phone appointments, live chat, or in-app messaging. This range of options helps therapy fit into busy schedules and different comfort levels.

Sessions are provided by licensed professionals, and if someone decides they need a different therapeutic fit they can switch therapists. For many individuals facing common mental health challenges, online therapy provides accessible, adaptable care that supports progress and continuity.
