Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Hi! I’m a BACP-registered Person/Client-Centred counsellor based in the South of England. I have six years’ experience in a variety of settings, including charities and academia.
I’m dedicated to the Person-Centred Approach, which means I don’t judge or direct; instead I offer a warm, accepting environment in which you can explore your experiences, thoughts, and feelings at your own pace. I will support you in discovering and engaging your own innate resources to grow in the direction that’s right for you. After all, you are your own expert!
While my Person-Centred ethos means I work with the person, not the “issue”, I maintain a particular interest in mental health and depression, as well as questions around power, class, and politics. I also enjoy exploring the role of stories and games in therapy.

Peter Borowiec is a BACP-registered Person/Client-Centred counsellor based in the South of England, United Kingdom, with seven years’ experience working in a range of settings including charities and academia.
He practises from a Person-Centred framework, creating a warm, accepting environment where people are free to explore their thoughts and feelings at their own pace rather than being directed. His work focuses on enabling individuals to recognise and use their own resources to move in directions that feel right for them.
Although his approach attends to the whole person rather than a single presenting problem, Peter has a particular interest in mental health and depression and in questions related to power, class, and politics. He also enjoys exploring the use of stories and games within therapeutic work.
Many people ask whether online therapy can really help. For a number of common concerns – such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or managing life changes – research indicates that online therapy can be as effective as traditional face-to-face sessions.
A key benefit is flexibility. Individuals can choose the mode of contact that suits them best – video calls, phone conversations, live chat, or in-app messaging – which makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy life.
Therapists offering online work are licensed professionals, and if someone feels a different match would be better they are able to switch to another therapist at any time.
