Zahrasadat Saba is a qualified client-centred counsellor based in London with 5 years of experience in the mental health field. She adopts a client-led approach, following each person’s pace and priorities and working with what they bring into the room.
She has supported adults of all ages and backgrounds with a wide range of concerns, including stress, depression, anxiety, parenting problems, grief, trauma and self-harm. Her aim as a counsellor is to provide a non-judgemental and safe space that helps clients explore and build their natural, authentic self.
Zahrasadat works with both short-term and long-term clients depending on their reasons for seeking counselling, and she uses a mix of creative and practical approaches that are selected according to the needs of the work in each session. She also offers single session therapy for people seeking a focused, one-off appointment.
She is qualified in client-centred therapy, mindfulness therapy and solution-focused therapy. In plain terms, client-centred therapy means she follows the client’s lead; mindfulness therapy supports present-moment awareness; and solution-focused therapy concentrates on practical, goal-directed steps toward change. Her specialist areas include stress, anxiety, self-esteem and self-harm, and she also has experience in trauma and abuse, grief, parenting issues, anger management and coaching.
For many common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties or navigating life changes, online therapy can be as effective as in-person sessions. Research and clinical experience indicate that talking therapies delivered remotely often produce meaningful benefits for these kinds of issues.
One key advantage of online therapy is flexibility – people can connect in the way that works best for them, whether that’s a video call, a phone session, live chat or in-app messaging. This flexibility makes it easier to fit regular therapy into a busy life.
All therapists involved are licensed professionals, and if someone decides they would prefer a different fit they can change therapists at any time. Online therapy offers a practical alternative for accessing qualified support without changing the core therapeutic relationship and process.
