Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 15 years experience working with individuals, couples, and families. I earned a Masters Degree in Psychology from Florida A&M University in 1986, and I have been working in the mental health field since that time. I have extensive experience working with those struggling with such issues as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, parenting issues, LGBTQ issues, marital problems, and stress related disorders. I believe in meeting each individual wherever they are in life, and helping them work through issues they are struggling with through a non-judgmental, professional approach towards self-awareness and personal growth.
I believe that a Cognitive-Behavioral approach to therapy helps clients achieve this goal. This involves working through feelings, developing coping skills, and challenging thoughts that are self-defeating or negative. I strongly believe in the therapy process and the impact it can have in helping you feel better and achieve greater emotional well-being. I want to emphasize that you’re not alone, and that I am available to help you work through this process. As your therapist, I would commit to helping you work through any problems that you are dealing with in a professional, therapeutic manner. I look forward to working with you as you journey towards the process of feeling better.

Many people wonder whether remote counseling can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or managing life transitions, online therapy has been found to be as effective as traditional in-person sessions.
One major benefit is flexibility – clients can connect in the format that works best for them, including video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. That flexibility often makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy life.
Therapists and licensed professionals provide care through these channels, and clients may change therapists at any time if they want a different fit. Online services can offer an accessible way to begin or continue therapeutic work for many common mental health and relationship concerns.
