Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Hi!
Welcome to BetterHelp! I’m Jane. Congratulations on taking this step toward personal understanding and growth! It takes wisdom to identify that you could benefit from a professional’s insight and assistance. It takes even more courage to actually reach out. Thank you for allowing me to be the person you trust.
I’m an LCSW licensed in North Carolina. My education began with a Bachelors Degree in Psychology from UNLV. My MSSW came from University of Tennessee. My counseling work began in Memphis, TN and over the years I have worked with a wide variety of people ranging from children to geriatrics. The types of issues I have expertise in is also quite varied. From sexual assault to depression and anxiety to chronic mental illness to hospice, I’ve done it.
The first thing of importance in counseling is developing a trusting rapport. If you are not comfortable, it’s hard to engage and make progress. My general approach to therapy is one of figuring out what fits my client’s needs. I don’t fit you into my style; I make the style and intervention fit YOU. I’m a firm believer that the success of therapy is not that a therapist “fixes you” or tells you what to do. It is about a relationship focused on discovery and solutions. You are the expert of your life and it is up to you, with my guidance and support, to implement changes that will bring you to a more satisfying place in life. I want YOU to feel the pride of success in overcoming these challenges.
You can do this!! I very much look forward to walking this road with you.

Many people wonder whether remote therapy can deliver meaningful results. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and adapting to life changes, research and clinical practice indicate that online therapy can be as effective as traditional in-person sessions.
One major benefit of remote work with a therapist is flexibility. Clients can choose the mode of connection that fits their needs and comfort level – video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging – making it easier to schedule care around daily life.
Therapy delivered remotely is provided by licensed professionals, and clients always have the option to change therapists if they seek a different match. For many people, online therapy provides an accessible, adaptable way to engage in consistent care and work toward their goals.
