Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Welcome! My name is Nikkala Kordzik. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas with eight years of counseling experience, including independently providing counseling in group private practices for five out of these eight years. In addition to being a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas, I am a National Certified Counselor, Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor in Texas, Registered Play Therapist, and a Certified School Counselor in Texas. I have counseled clients, who have experienced anxiety, stress, depression, career, inattention, hyperactivity, impulse control, substance use, addiction, and parenting concerns, and difficulty coping with life changes. I counsel clients using a holistic and individualized approach, utilizing cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, reality therapy, mindfulness, motivational interviewing, acceptance and commitment therapy, and other evidenced-based interventions. I enjoy working with clients to identify their goals and form strategies to reach them. My belief is that clients can reach their goals when they are willing to make small changes in their life, process their feelings, set healthy boundaries, and live authentically. In addition to counseling clients, I also enjoy exercising, watching and playing sports, reading, and spending quality time with my family, friends, and dogs. I am looking forward to working with you!
