I provide my clients a warm, supportive and non-judgemental therapeutic environment. I work with clients to explore their thoughts, feelings and emotions, enabling them to gain a clearer understanding of their life experience, and to find their way towards a more fulfilling life. I understand that it can be difficult to make sense of life events and changes and believe it is important to offer a trustworthy and confidential space for clients to not only embark on a journey of self-exploration and change, but to also gain a feeling of value and self-worth which is important for self-development and growth.
Working integratively means I draw from several theoretical approaches, and tailor them to the unique needs of my clients. I work with the person centred, humanistic and psychodynamic models, and aim to offer a space which enables my clients to safely explore the issues which they choose to work through, at their own pace.
I worked in IT for 19 years and prior to that worked in Retail and Market Research. I have developed an understanding of the challenges of the work environment and how it can impact the personal areas of an individual’s life, and vice versa. I have an interest in depression and anxiety, stress, workplace and communication issues, self-esteem and self confidence, family and relationship issues, and have gained experience in providing clients with a safe and supportive space to explore these challenges.
By learning and understanding for myself how therapy can bring about helpful and positive change within a person’s life, I developed a passion for Counselling. Since gaining experiencing by providing mentoring support within IT, and volunteering at Norwood and Brixton Foodbank, I have built upon my desire to work therapeutically with clients from a range of cultural backgrounds and various walks of life.
I am an integrative counsellor. who has a CPCAB Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling and is a Registered Member of BACP, with a goal to work towards accreditation.

Many people ask whether online therapy can genuinely help. For everyday concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties or managing life transitions, online therapy has been shown to be comparable in effectiveness to traditional face-to-face sessions.
A major benefit is flexibility – clients can meet with a therapist in the format that suits them best, whether that is video calls, phone sessions, live chat or in-app messaging. This adaptability makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy life.
All sessions are delivered by licensed professionals, and if someone feels they would prefer a different therapist they can change at any time. Online therapy provides accessible options to receive professional support for common mental health and wellbeing concerns.
