Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Hello! My name is Jessica Brousseau and I am a Certified School Counselor and Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Connecticut. I completed my graduate work in School Counseling at the University of Saint Joseph in West Hartford, CT. I have been providing counseling services to children, adolescents, adults, and families for the previous four years, addressing a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, academic challenges, LGBTQ+ issues, relationship/social issues, and more.
I believe that every individual experiences life challenges in a different way. Because of this, I employ an integrative approach to counseling that borrows practices from several orientations, including solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and strengths-based therapy. I believe it is important to collaborate with clients to determine which strategies will work best for them, and to make their time with me as successful and effective as possible.
Seeking counseling services takes a great deal of courage and commitment. I applaud you for having already taken the first step to becoming a more fulfilled individual who wants to make real, meaningful change in your life.
I look forward to working with you!

Many people wonder whether virtual counseling can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or navigating life changes, online therapy has been found to be comparable in effectiveness to traditional in-person sessions.
A major benefit is the flexibility it offers – clients can connect in the format that feels most comfortable, whether by video call, phone session, live chat, or in-app messaging. This flexibility often makes it easier to incorporate therapy into a busy schedule.
Sessions are provided by licensed professionals and therapists, and if a different therapeutic fit is desired, clients can switch providers at any time. Online therapy can be a practical option for people seeking accessible, evidence-informed support for common mental health and life concerns.
