My name is Monique but known by most as Nikki. I am a licensed professional counselor in South Carolina with over 6 years of experience working as a therapist and life coach. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, life transitions, and reaching personal goals. My therapy style is warm, interactive, and empowering. I believe in treating anyone with respect, sensitivity, value, and compassion, and aim to remove stigmatizing labels. My approach combines biblically sound principles for a Christian counseling approach with cognitive-behavioral therapy, emotion focus therapy, narrative therapy, brief solution-focused therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and the Gottman methods couple’s therapy.,. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.

Many people ask whether online therapy can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or navigating life changes, online therapy has been shown to be as effective as traditional in-person sessions.
One major benefit is flexibility – clients can choose the mode of connection that fits their life, whether that means video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. This adaptability makes it easier to attend sessions without rearranging other responsibilities.
All therapists offering online care are licensed professionals, and clients have the option to switch therapists if they need a different fit. For many individuals, online therapy provides a practical, effective way to get consistent support while managing a busy schedule.
