Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I am a licensed clinical social worker with over thirty years of experience in the social work field. I have worked with families, children, parents, and individuals. I have an extensive background in child welfare services and in special education, working with children with special needs and their families.
I have worked in hospitals and with adults in mental health rehabilitation.
I am currently employed with the Department of Veterans’ Affairs. Many of the veterans served in my program suffer from PTSD, depression, anxiety or addictions.
I have come to believe over many years of practice that it is critical to help clients express and clarify their goals and to identify the barriers to reaching those goals. Of equal importance is helping clients identify and build upon their strengths. Often this means learning about available resources to assist them.
In summary, my approach as a clinical social worker is to help clients understand and meet their personal life goals, using all the resources available to them.

Many people wonder whether online therapy truly helps. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties or navigating life changes, online therapy is considered to be similarly effective as traditional in-person sessions.
A key benefit of online therapy is flexibility – clients can choose the format that fits their life and comfort level, whether that is a video call, a phone session, live chat or in-app messaging. This adaptability makes it easier to attend sessions consistently and integrate therapy into a busy schedule.
Sessions are led by licensed professionals and therapists, and if someone feels they need a different therapeutic fit they can switch providers at any time. For many people, online therapy provides a practical, accessible way to address everyday mental health concerns and to work toward personal goals with professional support.
