Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with 20 years of professional work experience. I help individuals learn how to manage symptoms of health conditions that effect changes in emotion, thinking, or behavior, and addictions. My experience comes from providing mental health counseling for adults. I have experience in helping individuals, including veterans, with stress and anxiety, motivation, self-esteem and confidence, depression, and symptoms of posttraumatic stress disorder. I also work with individuals coping with life changes and help them make necessary transitions.
My experience is varied as I have worked with individuals in a community mental health agency and individual practice. I have worked with individuals with more severe mental illnesses to those dealing with life changes. I have also worked with homeless veterans and helped them to find shelter and engage in treatment.
My therapy style and approach is based on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Trauma Informed Care, Motivational Interviewing, and Mindfulness. I like to learn a little about you and meet you where you are. Together we will create goals to work on to help you achieve your potential.
I believe that you are the expert of your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you. Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage. I am here to support you in that process.
