Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, LPC and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) Certification. I proudly served in the U.S. Navy for 22 years. During my military career I gained a wealth of knowledge working with sailors suffering from addictions, depression, trauma, and other life challenges. My military experience coupled with my 10 years of community counseling has exposed me to the devastating struggles individuals face. Therefore, my passion is building collaborative counseling relationships to help individuals heal and thrive to reach their highest possible potential.
My theoretical orientation is Cognitive-Behavioral Theory (CBT) and Solution-Focused Based Therapy (SFBT). Both approaches focus on solutions to empower individuals to improve their quality of life. The human mind is extremely complex. Therefore, an eclectic approach is often needed. CBT and SFBT are approaches that are ideal for integrating with other approaches as needed. My mission is to provide a safe, judgmental free, supportive environment in which individuals can heal.
My degrees include a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Education from Wayland Baptist University, Master of Arts in Special Education from Phoenix University, Master of Arts in Human Services Counseling (Marriage and Family) from Liberty University, and Educational Specialist Degree in Teaching and Learning from Liberty University.

Sharie Scott is a Licensed Professional Counselor practicing in Texas who blends a military background with clinical training to support people facing a wide range of life challenges. She served in the U.S. Navy for 22 years and during that time worked closely with service members experiencing addictions, depression, trauma, and other difficulties; that experience, together with her work in community counseling, shaped her focus on helping individuals heal and grow.
Her approach centers on cognitive-behavioral therapy and solution-focused brief therapy – methods that emphasize practical strategies and goal-oriented change. She also integrates other techniques as needed, tailoring interventions to each person because the mind and life circumstances are often complex and unique.
Sharie aims to build collaborative counseling relationships that empower clients to improve their quality of life and reach their highest potential. She creates a nonjudgmental, supportive environment where clients can address issues such as stress, anxiety, parenting and family conflicts, anger, self-esteem, compassion fatigue, relationship concerns, trauma and abuse, grief, career difficulties, depression, ADHD, and coping with life changes.
Her clinical credentials include graduate-level training in counseling and a recognized trauma certification; she is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas and holds Certified Clinical Trauma Professional credentialing. Her academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Education from Wayland Baptist University, a Master of Arts in Special Education from Phoenix University, a Master of Arts in Human Services Counseling with a focus on marriage and family from Liberty University, and an Educational Specialist Degree in Teaching and Learning from Liberty University. With three years of experience providing therapy services, Sharie brings a practical, trauma-informed perspective to her work.
For many common concerns – including stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and major life transitions – online therapy can be an effective option comparable to traditional in-person sessions. Research and clinical practice support its usefulness for these everyday issues.
One major benefit is flexibility – clients can connect in the format that fits their life best, whether that is a video appointment, a phone session, live chat, or in-app messaging. This flexibility makes it easier to maintain regular care around work, family, and other commitments.
Sessions are provided by licensed professionals and therapists, and clients have the option to change therapists if they decide a different fit would work better. Online therapy can offer a convenient, approachable way to begin or continue mental health care while addressing common emotional and practical concerns.
