Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Ever since I was 12 years old I knew that I had a passion for helping people. I started working in a daycare, moved to school settings, and continued moving up from there. I have over 20 years of experience in the mental health and addictions field. I have been fully licensed for 10 years. I received my Bachelor of Arts degree and a double major in Psychology and Addiction Studies from Alverno College in 2007. In 2010, I received my Master of Science degree in Mental Health Counseling with a minor in Addiction Studies. I’m originally from Wisconsin but I’ve been in Tucson for over 2 years. I have my LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) in Wisconsin and Arizona. I also have my CSAC (Clinical Substance Abuse Counselor) in Wisconsin as well.
My counseling style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don’t believe in stigmatizing labels. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. I’ve worked in a lot of settings including; online, inpatient, outpatient, residential, in-home, in the community, comprehensive treatment centers, corrections, and schools providing mental health therapy, addiction counseling, parenting skills, daily living skills, and anger management. I’ve facilitated groups, worked with couples, families, and 1 on 1 therapy. I incorporate several methods including; EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy.

Many people wonder whether remote therapy can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or navigating life changes, online therapy has been shown to be comparable in effectiveness to traditional in-person sessions for most cases.
One of online therapy’s primary benefits is flexibility. Individuals can connect with a therapist in the format that fits their routine and comfort level – video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging make it easier to fit care into a busy life.
Licensed professionals provide these services, and clients may choose to switch therapists if they feel a different fit would be helpful. Online therapy can be a practical option for many seeking support for everyday mental health and life challenges.
