I have been a licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Colorado for 17 years specializing in women issues. I am only available to work with clients who reside in the state of Colorado per my licensing board DORA. Per client request and availability ~sessions are 45 minutes in length. If you need to cancel please make ever effort to do so 24 hours in advance. This allows others to possibly use this time slot for their sessions if you can’t attend your session. Typically, clients who meet weekly on a regular basis are able to work on therapeutic goals. Friday sessions and some Saturday sessions are available for clients. Please note, due to weather, the internet may not be available, when this happens, I ask that you reschedule your appointment and I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you. If you are in a crisis, please go to the nearest ER, and or use the hotline numbers listed on the BetterHelp website.
My counseling approaches utilize several counseling theories that are customized to meet your needs. I believe that by treating each client with respect, honor, sensitivity and compassion a working therapeutic alliance can be formed as we interact with one another.

Clients are asked to make every effort to cancel at least 24 hours in advance so the time slot may be offered to someone else. Regular weekly appointments help many clients make steady progress toward therapeutic goals. Friday sessions and some Saturday times are available.
Because weather can sometimes interrupt internet service, Dr. Hughes Bise asks that clients reschedule when connectivity problems occur and apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause. If a client is in crisis, they should go to the nearest emergency room or use the hotline numbers listed on the BetterHelp website.
