Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Hello, my name is Easter Spates. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Supervisor with over 20 years of experience providing counseling and supportive services to individuals, families, children and adolescents. I am a graduate of Prairie View A&M University where I received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and earned my Master’s in Counseling and Guidance. My goal in the therapeutic process is to engage and guide individuals to evoke the specific “change” you need to experience. My focus is to ensure that the counseling experience is ordered and set up for you to feel pleased and invigorated throughout the process.
I see myself as a vehicle for the client’s change. Assisting you to make sense of your experiences and seeing better patterns. I would describe my therapeutic style as warm and engaging. I consider myself as leveled headed, balanced, and non-judgmental.
I do understand that making the decision to seek counseling can be overwhelming but by doing so you have begun the journey. Know that I am here to be a guiding light with you through each step of the way.

Many people ask whether online therapy can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and navigating life changes, online therapy has been shown to be comparable in effectiveness to traditional in-person sessions.
A major benefit is flexibility – you can meet with a therapist in the format that fits your life, whether by video call, phone session, live chat, or in-app messaging. This flexibility makes it easier to integrate therapy into a busy routine.
Therapists offering online care are licensed professionals, and you have the option to change providers if you feel a different fit would be better for you.
