Hi there! My name is Ashley Monacelli, a passionate and dedicated human-being focused on helping individuals reach their goals & overcome obstacles in their way. Here is a little about my education and experience:
I completed my graduate work in social work with an emphasis in children and family services at the University of Michigan Ann Arbor. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Michigan and have spent the last 5 years working with Henry Ford Health System as an ICU social worker and supervisor of Case Management. I have advanced training in client centered care and additionally have training in cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, motivational interviewing and mindfulness practices. My experiences range from working with individuals to overcome anxiety, depression, and substance abuse to working with parents and families to address conflict, family relationships, and end of life/hospice care.
