Additionally, I have spent 8 years in private practice before relocating from San Antonio, Texas to the New York area to be closer to my aging family members.
Throughout my career, I have gained extensive expertise in academia, mental health, school counseling, life coaching, critical incident debriefing, and group work. My therapeutic approach is rooted in client-centered care, where I prioritize the needs and goals of my clients. I utilize a range of evidence-based techniques, including Solution-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Emotional Freedom Technique (also known as Tapping).
In our sessions, I believe in fostering a collaborative environment where we work together to address the challenges you are facing. I assign homework and actively engage in dialogue to ensure progress and growth.
