Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Hello, My name is Cate. I’ve been a Licensed Professional Counselor since 2001. I have my Master’s in Counseling from Webster University and have 20 years of experience in a variety of settings from a private hospital to community mental health center to a substance use treatment center. What I found was people have an instinct towards wellness when they are treated with dignity and respect. Each of us has a story to tell and generally want to move towards a positive outcome.
It takes strength and determination to make change in one’s life. It’s been an important lesson that I’ve learned to honor the tools that have a brought a person to the point where that person is now and I’ll meet you where you are and together look at new ways to achieve the goals you wish to accomplish, increase functioning and explore new perspectives in a safe, non-judgmental environment, with the understanding that you direct the experience.
I use a client-centered approach, I’m versed in cognitive-behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing and narrative therapy. I work with teens and adults dealing with depression, stress, anxiety, substance use, life changes, grief issues, bipolar depression, ADHD, parenting, conflict/anger and relationship issues.
I would be privileged to work with you.

Many people wonder whether online therapy delivers real benefits. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or navigating life changes, online therapy has been shown to be just as effective as in-person sessions.
One of the main advantages is flexibility – individuals can connect with a therapist in the way that suits them best, whether by video call, phone session, live chat, or in-app messaging. This versatility makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy schedule and to maintain continuity of care.
Licensed professionals provide online therapy, and clients may choose to switch therapists at any time if they seek a different match. For many people, remote sessions offer a practical, accessible path to addressing everyday mental health concerns and life transitions.
