Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of Illinois and have been a social worker for over 15 years. I provide personal counseling/therapy based upon the principles of humanistic therapy and positive psychology, which focus upon your strengths and what is right with you rather than what is “wrong” with you. In working with clients my approach is to be overwhelmingly positive, supportive and encouraging.
I focus almost exclusively upon working with people who experienced childhood trauma due to ongoing abuse and neglect. I was a victim of substantial emotional abuse and neglect throughout my own childhood and have spent many years dealing with the negative consequences of those experiences, so I have tremendous empathy and understanding of the difficulties that others who have gone through this might have faced over the years. I can easily relate to people’s struggles to learn who they really are and identify their core self which had to be hidden in order to survive childhood. I will help you identify your needs, wants and desires, which have been buried for so many years. The ultimate goal is to heal the emotional wounds you carry within you so you can begin to lead the kind of life that you want that meets those needs and desires and is no longer ruled by the internalized fear of your abuser.

For many common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or managing life transitions, online therapy can be as effective as traditional in-person care. Research and clinical experience suggest that, for these types of issues, remote therapy often produces outcomes comparable to face-to-face sessions.
One major benefit of remote therapy is flexibility – people can connect in the way that best fits their schedule and comfort level, whether by video call, phone session, live chat, or in-app messaging. This flexibility makes it easier to maintain consistent care while balancing work, family, and other obligations.
Sessions are offered by licensed professionals and therapists, and clients have the option to change therapists if they feel a different fit would be more helpful. For many individuals seeking support for everyday mental health concerns, online therapy offers a practical, accessible path to meaningful progress.
