ZsaZsa Jenkins is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Texas with 45 years of experience in assessment, case management, and direct counseling. Over her long career she has developed skills across clinical evaluation, crisis intervention, and therapeutic support.
Her background includes work in Children’s Protective Services, community mental health settings, hospitals, independent practice, military bases, and non-profit agencies. She has provided individual, group, and marriage and family therapy across those settings, and she particularly enjoys leading group counseling as well as working one-on-one with adults aged 25 and older.
Her clinical approach draws on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, an eclectic mix of techniques, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). She combines these orientations to tailor interventions to each person’s needs and goals.
Recognizing that beginning therapy can feel uncomfortable, she focuses on helping people feel more at ease with the process and works collaboratively to identify the issues clients most want to address. If concerns arise about procedures, she prefers to discuss them promptly, and if a client still has reservations she encourages seeking a second professional opinion. She invites prospective clients to take the next step toward care.
For many common concerns – including stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and coping with life changes – online therapy can be an effective option comparable to traditional in-person sessions. Research and practice have found that virtual formats often work well for these issues.
One major benefit is flexibility. People can choose the format that fits their routine and comfort level, connecting with a therapist by video call, phone, live chat, or in-app messaging. That flexibility makes it easier to maintain consistent care while juggling other responsibilities.
All participating clinicians are licensed professionals, and if someone decides a different therapist would be a better fit they are free to make a change at any time. For many individuals, online therapy provides a practical and accessible path to receiving professional support.
