Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I am Zatascha Burton, a Licensed Professional Counselor and as a therapist, I stay educated about best practices for working with my clients. I strive to create an affirming space for every community – helping individuals, and young people to identify and achieve their personal goals by coping with the issues that are causing them distress, anxiety, and stress.
I have been a Licensed Professional Counselor since 2013. I have worked in Behavioral Health with adult individuals and school age children for the past eight years in the SE Georgia region and have recently launched my private practice in 2020. My primary specialization is Trauma Therapy; however, I incorporate diverse styles and techniques in a more eclectic approach based on client need. These techniques include Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing, (EMDR), and Play Therapy.
We come to therapy to work together to find solutions for change, understanding and empathy. During your initial session you can expect me to get to know you and provide a healthy environment for feedback that you can take with you in your everyday life. We will explore your thoughts, feelings and reactions which arise in order to work in your present moment. Whether you are looking for support during life’s challenges or you want change in life’s directions, I am here for you. I take great pride in the progress and success of my clients and look forward to establishing a collaborative relationship with you.

Many people ask whether meeting with a therapist online can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or managing life transitions, online therapy has been found to be comparably effective to traditional in-person care.
One major benefit is convenience – clients can choose the format that suits them best, including video sessions, phone calls, live chat, or in-app messaging. This flexibility makes it simpler to integrate therapy into a busy schedule.
All participating therapists are licensed professionals, and clients have the option to switch therapists if they want a different fit.
