Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Hello and welcome. My name is Yuliia. I am a qualified psychodynamic counsellor. I am licensed in the UK with 5 years of professional work experience. I offer counselling sessions to adult individuals in English, Ukrainian and Russian.
Counselling is not just a job for me. I have a passion for supporting others in their uneasy times and helping them bring some meaning to their experiences. From my own personal experience, I know that at some point of our life we might need somebody ‘to turn to’ who can listen, understand, accept us as we are that can make a ‘huge difference’. In my counselling sessions, I offer a safe, supportive, non-judgemental and accepting space to explore your current circumstances and past experiences bringing awareness of the underlying causes of your present issues, making sense of your struggles and finding ways to move forward in life.
I have a special professional interest in working with the following issues:
childhood trauma;
war trauma;
veterans’ mental health challenges;
bereavement;
culture shock;
psychological issues related to migration.
I have also experience in helping clients with anxiety and depression, self esteem and confidence, loneliness, perfectionism, separation and divorce, attachment difficulties, family issues, career counselling.
I believe that you are the expert of your story and that you have many strengths that can assist you in overcoming things that challenge you. Taking the first step to sign up for therapy can take courage and I am proud of you for getting started!

Yuliia Nicholls is a qualified psychodynamic counsellor licensed in the United Kingdom with five years of professional experience. She offers counselling to adults and works in English, Ukrainian and Russian.
Counselling for Yuliia is more than a profession – it is a commitment to supporting people through difficult moments and helping them find meaning in their experiences. She draws on a psychodynamic approach, which explores how past experiences and underlying patterns can influence current feelings and behaviour, to help clients understand the roots of their struggles.
In sessions she aims to provide a safe, supportive, non-judgemental and accepting space to explore both present circumstances and past events. This work focuses on increasing awareness of underlying causes, making sense of emotional responses, and identifying ways to move forward.
Yuliia has a particular professional interest in childhood trauma, war trauma, veterans’ mental health challenges, bereavement, culture shock and psychological issues related to migration. She also has experience supporting people with anxiety and depression, self-esteem and confidence, loneliness, perfectionism, separation and divorce, attachment difficulties, family issues and career concerns.
She believes each person is the expert on their own story and that people bring strengths that can help them overcome challenges. Yuliia recognises that taking the first step toward therapy takes courage and acknowledges the commitment it represents.
Research and practice indicate that for many common concerns – such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges or navigating life changes – online therapy can be just as effective as traditional in-person work. This makes remote counselling a viable option for people seeking support.
One clear benefit is flexibility – clients can connect in the way that suits them best, choosing video calls, phone sessions, live chat or in-app messaging. That flexibility often makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy life or to maintain continuity of care during transitions.
All therapists involved are licensed professionals, and clients have the option to change therapists if they feel a different fit would be more helpful. For many people, online therapy provides an accessible and effective route to addressing everyday mental health concerns and life challenges.
