About

Hi, my name is Yong S. Pak. I am a licensed Clinical Social Worker in Las Vegas, Nevada. I have been working in the mental health field since 2005 initially providing specialized therapeutic services to children and families, and thereafter with the general population providing individual, couple, and family therapy. I am experienced in working with clients who struggle with depression and anxiety as well as other mental health issues such as bipolar, OCD, and ADHD. I also have experience in working with family issues, couple-related issues, parent-child relationships, grief and loss, as well as with survivors of emotional and physical trauma.

Is Online Therapy the Right Step Toward Better Mental Health?

Many people ask whether remote therapy can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and navigating life transitions, online therapy is comparable in effectiveness to traditional in-person sessions.

A major benefit is convenience. Clients can connect with therapists in the format that suits them best – video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging – which makes it simpler to fit counseling into a busy life.

Therapists offering online services are licensed professionals, and clients have the option to change therapists if they feel a different fit would be better. For many individuals, online therapy provides a flexible, accessible way to work toward improved mental health and stronger relationships.
