Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Hi, I’m Whitney. If you’ve struggled with trauma, self-doubt, insecurities, anxiety, and/or depression. You’re in the right place.
About my clients: My client’s want to feel better. Plain and simple. They have a keen sense of when something is off about themselves and are ready to work towards a solution to getting their problems resolved. Life can be overwhelming these days. Therapy can provide you with insight on how to get out of the rut. I look forward to working together and helping you find clarity so that can get back to living your life on your terms.
My background and approach: I have a background in individual and family therapy. I received my master’s degree in social work from the University of Central Florida, and I received my bachelors degree in psychology from the University of Central Florida. I use a combination of mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused therapy, and wholistic therapeutic practices when working with my clients. Many clients believe that it is the therapist’s job to make them feel better. While feeling better may be the outcome of counseling it is not always the case in every situation. My main role is to help you identify the root cause and triggers of your uncomfortable emotions, and to perhaps help you understand yourself more clearly and provide insight as to why some emotions are surfacing so intensely. You and I will work collaboratively to develop the capacity to endure intense emotions and channel them properly. By doing this you will be able to increase your ability to disperse/ relieve your symptoms at a quicker rate.
Mental mental health challenges can be a persistent thorn in your side, but the thing about thorns is that they can be pulled out. Let me help you pull out your “thorn” and get you on the path to a life where you manage your mental health and your mental health doesn’t manage you.
