Wayne George is a registered counsellor and clinical supervisor based in Australia with 7 years of experience supporting adults through a range of life challenges. He combines a compassionate, practical and integrative approach that draws on Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy and trauma-informed care to meet each person where they are.
As a registered counsellor and clinical supervisor, he is a qualified practitioner who also provides clinical oversight and guidance to other clinicians. Wayne works with people experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, major life transitions, grief, spiritual concerns and low self-worth.
He also has a strong background in supporting men’s mental health, faith-based clients and people living with chronic pain or disability. Wayne brings the perspective of a male, older therapist whose practice is informed by Christian faith and a conservative outlook.
Wayne understands that reaching out for help can feel daunting, and he sees that first contact as an important and hopeful step. He provides a non-judgmental space to talk things through, clarify what is happening and explore practical ways forward at a pace that suits each client.
Whether someone feels stuck, faces a difficult decision or simply needs someone to listen, Wayne offers steady support and collaborative guidance along the way.
Many people ask whether online therapy can really help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges or navigating life changes, online therapy has been shown to be just as effective as traditional in-person sessions.
A major benefit is flexibility - clients can connect in the way that suits them best, whether by video call, phone session, live chat or in-app messaging. This flexibility makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy life.
Licensed professionals provide online therapy, and clients can change therapists at any time if they want a different fit. For many people, remote sessions offer a practical and effective path to support and progress.
