Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I am licensed in California as an LPCC (Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor). I have experience in treating depression, anxiety, grief/loss, trauma, and women’s issues. I have worked in a wide variety of settings, including outpatient, residential, and inpatient psychiatric. My approach to therapy depends on the strengths and needs of each client I work with. I most often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (learning to recognize the thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that lead to mental health symptoms), Attachment Theory (learning how the relationships formed in childhood lead to unhealthy/healthy relationships in adulthood), and Psychodynamic Theory (understanding what happened in the past and how it influences current behaviors). I decided to become a therapist because I have always been passionate about helping people through difficult times. Getting through the difficult times is what allows people to become the best version of themselves, and I want to be a part of that journey. During a first session, clients can expect me asking a lot of open-ended questions to understand the concerns that are bringing them to therapy. I prioritize creating a safe space, establishing trust, and building a therapeutic connection.

Veronika McQuiston is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in California (CA LPCC 16129) with seven years of clinical experience. She works with people facing stress, anxiety, anger, low self-esteem, depression, and challenges related to life transitions, and she also addresses grief, trauma, and women’s issues.
Her background includes work in outpatient, residential, and inpatient psychiatric settings, and her therapeutic style is shaped by the strengths and needs of each person she sees. She most often applies Cognitive Behavioral Therapy – learning to recognize the thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that contribute to symptoms – along with Attachment Theory – examining how early relationships affect adult connections – and Psychodynamic Theory – understanding how past experiences influence current behavior.
Veronika became a therapist out of a long-standing commitment to help people navigate difficult periods and to support their growth toward becoming the best version of themselves. In an initial session she typically asks open-ended questions to clarify the concerns that brought someone to therapy, and she prioritizes creating a safe space, establishing trust, and building a strong therapeutic connection.
