Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I feel a deep sense of respect and appreciation for each new person who decides to enter counseling with the courage and commitment to discover and make the changes that will give their life new meaning and direction. The opportunity to witness the growth of another is an honor and a privilege.
When a person comes to therapy, it is because they want something different in their lives. My job is to help you find ways of seeing a problem and handling emotions, thoughts, and situations that might not have occurred to you by yourself. When we both understand what you want, I will help you devise various ways to get what you want. I will try to understand you and the difficulties you are experiencing holistically by paying attention to your body, mind, emotions, and spirit.
The important thing to remember is that in the end, making changes in your life is up to you. For counseling to be effective, you must make a commitment of time and energy and take an active part in the process. Therapy is about equipping you with life-long solutions. My goal for you is to feel better and empower you to be better.
I received a Bachelor’s at Pembroke State University in Psychology and a Master’s at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke in Service Agency Counseling.

Veronica Crawley approaches each person who seeks counseling with deep respect for the courage it takes to pursue change, and she views witnessing another person’s growth as an honor and a privilege.
When someone comes to therapy because they want something different in their life, Veronica helps them explore new perspectives and practical ways to manage emotions, thoughts, and situations that may not have occurred to them alone. Once goals are clear, she collaborates with clients to design multiple approaches to reach those goals, attending to the whole person – body, mind, emotions, and spirit.
Veronica emphasizes that ultimate change is the client’s responsibility; counseling is most effective when a person commits time and energy and takes an active role in the work. Her aim is to equip clients with skills and strategies that endure, so they feel better and are empowered to be better over the long term.
She earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Pembroke State University and a master’s degree in Service Agency Counseling from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. Veronica holds professional licensure and certifications in clinical mental health counseling, clinical addiction counseling, clinical supervision for mental health counselors, national counselor certification, trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, and child and family forensic interviewing, and she is an ordained chaplain.
With more than 20 years of clinical experience across outpatient private practice, agencies, residential settings, and schools, Veronica has worked as a psychotherapist, clinical director, school counselor, BED/lead teacher, program administrator, program coordinator, intensive in-home specialist, teaching-parent, and legal advocate. She provides clinical and administrative supervision to other licensed clinical mental health counselors. Her approach to treatment is collaborative, holistic, integrative, and strength-based, and her techniques are tailored to meet the needs of individuals, families, and groups.
Many people wonder whether remote counseling can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or adjusting to life changes, online therapy has been shown to be just as effective as traditional in-person sessions.
A major benefit is greater flexibility – clients can connect in the format that fits their life and comfort level, whether by video call, phone session, live chat, or in-app messaging. This variety of options makes it easier to build therapy into a busy schedule.
All therapists offering online services are licensed professionals, and a client may choose to switch therapists at any time if they would prefer a different fit. For many people, remote therapy provides an accessible, practical way to get consistent support while working toward their mental health goals.
