Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships

About

Hi, my name is Ula and I am a licensed professional counselor in the state of Michigan. I would describe myself as easy-going and down-to-earth with a good sense of humor. My mission is to help others experience being seen, heard, and understood. In doing this, I hope to empower individuals to find ways to grow to their full potential.

In order to provide therapy to others, I attended Siena Heights University to earn a master’s degree in community counseling. For about seven years, I have been working with individuals and families with a variety of challenges such as family conflict, trauma, depression and anxiety, stress-related issues, communication challenges, self-esteem, and much more. I utilize an eclectic approach to counseling to meet the unique needs of individuals that support them to work on their mental health goals. These evidence based approaches include Mindfulness-Based Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

I truly look forward to helping you!

Is Online Therapy the Right Fit for Your Needs?

Many people ask whether sessions conducted remotely can really help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or navigating life changes, online therapy has been shown to be just as effective as traditional in-person care. A major benefit is flexibility – you can connect in the way that feels most comfortable, whether by video call, phone session, live chat, or in-app messaging. This range of options can make it easier to fit therapy into a busy schedule and to maintain consistency over time. Licensed professionals provide these services, and if you decide a different match would work better, you can switch therapists at any time. Online therapy offers a convenient, adaptable way to pursue mental health support while keeping the same goals and professional standards as face-to-face care.
