Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 10 years of professional work experience. I graduated from the University of Missouri at Kansas City in 2008. Since then I worked with individuals and families within various settings including: hospice, adult in-patient psychiatric care, child welfare, juvenile justice authority counseling and school social work. This has afforded me the ability to serve people of all ages, backgrounds and walks of life. It has been an absolute privilege to get to know each client. I understand how hard it can be to ask for help and trust someone with your personal information, even more so when life is throwing challenges your way. I truly believe that life gets messy for each one of us, and that the best way forward is with someone helping and cheering you on the whole way! Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, truama, relationship issues, parenting challenges or any other struggle life currently has in store for you, I would love the opportunity to get to know you to support your goals. I hope you are celebrating taking this brave first step! Together I know we can take many more positive steps forward!

Tara Davis is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (MO LCSW 2023001080) based in Missouri with five years of experience providing therapy. She has worked with individuals and families across a range of settings, including hospice, adult in-patient psychiatric care, child welfare, juvenile justice authority counseling, and school social work.
Her background has allowed her to support people of all ages and from diverse walks of life. Tara values the opportunity to get to know each client and recognizes how difficult it can be to reach out for help and to trust someone with personal information, especially when life feels overwhelming.
She approaches therapy with an encouraging, collaborative stance, believing that progress is often made with steady support and practical steps forward. Tara works with concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, parenting challenges, and other struggles a person may be facing, and she welcomes the opportunity to support clients as they pursue their goals.
She celebrates the courage it takes to begin therapy and aims to help clients build on that first brave step to make additional positive changes in their lives.
Many people ask whether talking with a therapist online can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or navigating life changes, online therapy has been shown to be comparable in effectiveness to traditional in-person sessions.
One major benefit is flexibility – individuals can choose the mode of connection that fits their life and comfort level, whether that is video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. This variety makes it easier to fit therapy into busy schedules and to maintain consistency over time.
Therapists offering online services are licensed professionals, and clients have the option to change therapists if they feel a different fit would be more helpful. For many people, online therapy provides an accessible, effective way to address everyday mental health concerns while fitting into the demands of daily life.
