Tamar Delevoe

Tamar Delevoe became a social worker because she values what the profession stands for. Social workers support individuals, families, groups, and communities by working to meet basic needs and to enhance social functioning, self-determination, overall health, and well-being. Tamar enjoys meeting people and listening to their stories, and her clinical work is grounded in helping each person reach their personal goals.

She earned a bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Florida Atlantic University and a master’s degree in Social Work from Florida International University. With this training, Tamar focuses on addressing the needs of both communities and individuals through therapeutic services delivered in Florida.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Florida - a state license that authorizes clinical therapeutic practice (license number SW18878) - Tamar uses a client-centered, strength-based approach alongside cognitive behavioral therapy. She also applies solution-focused techniques together with motivational interviewing to support meaningful change.

Her experience includes working with people who face mental health disorders, low self-esteem, negative self-talk, and trauma. Tamar tailors her approach to each person’s unique situation, meeting clients where they are and supporting them to become a healthier, more empowered version of themselves.
