Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Hello! My name is Susan Hancock, and I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor based in Texas. I have a master’s degree in Counseling, I’m a certified Anger Management Specialist, and I have eight years of professional work experience. My treatment approach is pretty down to earth – I know all the “counseling world” language can be intimidating, especially if you’ve never been in therapy before. I focus on what your issues are and how we can work together to come up with a realistic and practical plan that is a good fit for you. I have experience in helping clients with anxiety, depression, anger management and self-esteem issues. I have done a lot of work with individuals going through a divorce, and with families going through the challenges of blending families. I also specialize in working with neurodivergent individuals and have an extensive knowledge regarding autism and autism caregivers, as I have two adult sons on the autism spectrum. I am very easy to talk to, and look forward to developing a safe, trusting environment with clients in which we can work together and move toward a happier, more fulfilled future.

Many people wonder whether online therapy can truly make a difference. For common concerns like stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or navigating life changes, online therapy has been shown to be just as effective as traditional in-person sessions.
One major advantage is flexibility – clients can connect in the way that feels most comfortable, whether by video call, phone session, live chat, or in-app messaging. That flexibility makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy schedule.
All therapists involved are licensed professionals, and if a particular clinician isn’t the right fit, clients have the option to switch to someone else at any time. Online therapy offers a practical, adaptable way to seek support for many everyday mental health concerns.
