Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Blessings to you and your effort to pursue support on your behalf. You deserve your effort! In my over 30 year career as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I have been privileged to connect with three year olds to 103 year olds! My motivation is to make a positive difference in the time I am given in this world. My first recommendation to all clients is to advocate for yourself as you choose a therapist. Invest in yourself and your value to make certain you feel comfortable with the therapist you choose. Often if the experience isn’t what you expected, a client will hesitate to request an alternative therapist, ultimately discontinuing therapy with unmet needs. The connection between you and your therapist is instrumental in successful therapy . My responsibility is to create a healthy, therapeutic relationship which is based upon trust and nonjudgemental acceptance. Therapy is a challenging process and your willingness to share what might be a painful history is a gift I do not accept lightly. It is important to me to honor your journey, acknowledging the vulnerability of opening past chapters of your story to someone who begins as a stranger. The names of the therapeutic modalities I choose to implement are not the priority as you explore your willingness to begin this process. It will be necessary for you to begin with the goal to trust in my competence and experience to qualitatively respond to what you are currently managing. I would be grateful for the opportunity to join your story.

Susan Beck Case brings more than 30 years of clinical social work experience to her practice in Missouri. Over her career she has connected with people across a wide age range – from three year olds to those aged 103 – and is motivated to make a positive difference during the time she is given in this world.
She advises prospective clients to advocate for themselves when choosing a therapist and to invest in their own well-being by selecting someone with whom they genuinely feel comfortable. When therapy does not meet expectations, clients sometimes hesitate to request an alternative and may discontinue treatment with needs unmet.
Susan believes the therapeutic connection is central to effective work and considers it her responsibility to build a healthy relationship grounded in trust and nonjudgmental acceptance. She understands that therapy can be challenging and regards a client’s willingness to share painful history as a gift she does not accept lightly.
She honors each person’s journey and recognizes the vulnerability involved in opening past chapters of one’s story to someone who begins as a stranger. The specific names of therapeutic approaches are less important to her than responding skillfully and compassionately to what a person is currently managing. She holds a Missouri clinical social work license (MO LCSW 004179), a credential that reflects her professional qualifications and state licensure, and she would be grateful for the opportunity to join a client’s story.
Many people wonder whether therapy delivered online can truly make a difference. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or navigating life changes, online therapy has been shown to be just as effective as traditional in-person sessions for most people.
One significant advantage is flexibility – clients can connect in the way that feels most comfortable, choosing video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. This flexibility often makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy life.
Those who seek online care will work with licensed professionals, and it is possible to change therapists if a different fit is needed. For many people, the combination of qualified clinicians and adaptable connection options makes online therapy a practical and effective choice.
