She has experience helping people develop healthier coping skills for stress, anxiety, anger, grief and depression, and she supports clients who want to improve relationships with children, spouses and extended family members.
Her areas of focus include stress and anxiety, family conflicts, trauma and abuse, self-esteem concerns, depression, addiction, LGBT-related issues, relationship difficulties, grief, parenting challenges, anger management, bipolar disorder, coping with life changes and compassion fatigue. She enjoys helping clients notice what is going well in their lives, imagine a hopeful future and create realistic steps to move toward those goals.
Stephanie completed a bachelor’s degree in Child and Family Studies at Eastern Kentucky University and earned a master’s degree in professional clinical counseling from Liberty University. She began her post-graduate clinical work in Kentucky as a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate and progressed to full licensure as a professional clinical counselor in the state in 2019. For many common concerns - such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties or navigating life transitions - online therapy can be just as effective as traditional in-person sessions. Research and clinical practice indicate that remote care works well for these types of issues, offering comparable outcomes for many people.
One major benefit is flexibility. Clients can choose the format that fits their needs and schedule, including video calls, phone sessions, live chat or in-app messaging. This range of options makes it easier to maintain continuity of care even when time or travel are barriers.
All participating clinicians are licensed professionals, and clients have the option to change therapists if they seek a different fit. Online therapy provides an accessible way to begin or continue mental health work while preserving the core therapeutic elements that support progress.
