Simone Mack

Simone Mack is a Florida-based mental health counselor who brings a sincere passion for supporting individuals and families toward better wellbeing. She earned a Master in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University after completing a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Florida International University in Miami. She is licensed to practice mental health counseling in Florida (LMHC, state license MH13402) and is actively pursuing certification as a Gambling Addictions Therapist.

With 15 years of clinical experience, Simone has extensive experience working with people facing addiction, depression, stress, anxiety, relationship and marital concerns, and trauma or abuse. She has also supported families and individuals within the LGBT community and addressed issues such as anger, self-esteem, bipolar disorder, grief and loss, intimacy challenges, eating disorders, parenting struggles, and coping with life changes. She is familiar with traits and characteristics associated with personality disorders.

Her therapeutic style blends warmth and kindness with a gentle firmness when needed. Simone encourages clients to explore their current circumstances, identify what is within their control, and develop healthier ways to manage emotions and behaviors. She works to empower people to recognize their own strengths and to cultivate greater balance by focusing on present-moment living rather than remaining stuck in the past or future.

For clients new to online counseling, Simone recommends an initial live session — preferably a 30-minute live chat — to introduce yourselves and begin building the therapeutic relationship. Following that introduction, she suggests at least one live session per week and will respond to messages in the forum in a timely manner.

Simone’s overarching aim is to guide clients and their families out of the difficulties created by addiction and other life challenges, helping them find healthier coping strategies, greater balance, and more peace as they move forward.
