She is a female therapist who works with people facing a range of emotional and relational challenges.
Her practice is integrative, drawing on Psychodynamic, Humanistic, Person Centred and CBT approaches so that therapy can be tailored to each person’s needs. Simone describes herself as a flexible counsellor who adapts methods to suit the individual rather than applying a single model to everyone.
She has worked with issues including loss and bereavement, low self-esteem, anger, depression, anxiety, attachment and unconscious processes, and her wider areas of expertise include trauma, addiction, relationship and family difficulties, intimacy-related concerns, grief, autonomy and self-development.
Simone’s work aims to increase awareness, support independent decision-making and provide space for full emotional expression. She values open-ended talking therapy and believes in its capacity to help people move toward greater autonomy.
Each session lasts approximately 45 minutes and can be conducted by video or voice call. During an initial assessment Simone and the client decide whether a short-term or long-term course of counselling will best support the person’s journey, and the approach is tailored accordingly.
Many people wonder whether online therapy can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties or navigating life changes, online therapy has been shown to be just as effective as traditional in-person sessions.
A major benefit is flexibility – clients can choose the format that suits them best, whether that is video calls, phone sessions, live chat or in-app messaging. This variety makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy life and to stay consistent with appointments.
Therapy delivered remotely is provided by licensed professionals and therapists, and if someone feels a different fit would help, they can switch to another therapist at any time. For many people, online therapy offers a practical, evidence-supported option for working through everyday and complex concerns alike.
