Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Hello,
I’m Sheila, a Licensed Professional Counselor and National Certified Counselor (LPC, NCC), and I have been in practice for over 18 years. I love what I do, which is listening, helping and guiding people as they learn the tools to achieve their therapeutic goals. I’ve worked with individuals, children/adolescents, families, and couples with such issues as grief/loss, anger management, relationship/family conflict, career challenges, depression, anxiety, and communication issues.
I’ve been fortunate to work with a variety of different people of all ages, cultures and socio-economic statuses and those sessions have occurred in a variety of settings— from private offices to schools to military bases to court to therapy in the home. This range of experience has taught me that there is no “one size, fits all” when it comes to therapy. Just as you are a unique individual, your therapy must be as well.
I believe in creating a trusted partnership with my clients, and employ a warmly diplomatic but direct style of communication. I draw from various evidence-based theories and modalities such as cognitive-behavioral, humanistic and family systems; together we will discover what is most helpful for you.
I look forward to partnering with you!

Many people wonder whether remote counseling can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or navigating major life changes, online therapy has been found to be comparable in effectiveness to traditional in-person care.
One major benefit is flexibility – clients can meet with a therapist in the way that fits their schedule and comfort level, choosing video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. That flexibility often makes it easier to incorporate therapy into a busy life.
All participating clinicians are licensed professionals, and clients may switch therapists at any time if they prefer a different fit. For many people dealing with everyday mental health challenges, online therapy provides a practical and effective option for support.
