I am licensed in Colorado with 14 years of professional work experience. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.
Relationships are an important part of the foundation of our lives, both the relationship we have with ourselves, and the relationship we have with others. The relationship we have with ourselves can be challenged by internal conflict, feelings of being stuck, and fears that stops us, causing our lives to be unsatisfying. Since we ‘live’ in all 3 time periods, the past, present, and future, we want to make sure that our past ‘stories’ are not interfering in our present lives. And then by understanding what our fears are, we can have a better view of the future.
Counseling is an unique opportunity to reconnect with ourselves and others. It’s an opportunity to pay attention to parts of ourselves that we try to ignore. It’s also an opportunity to have the life that you want and deserve.
My clients appreciate my engagement, honesty, and authenticity in our work together. I strive to understand what it’s like to ‘walk in your shoes’ which helps me counsel more effectively. I consider counseling a team effort! I understand that it takes a lot of courage and motivation to begin counseling and talk about yourself. But it’s actually the best conversation we can have to understand what’s getting in the way.

Shari Wind is a Colorado-based therapist and a licensed professional counselor in Colorado (CO LPC LPC.0006545) with 14 years of professional experience.
She works with people experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, family conflicts, low motivation, self-esteem challenges, and issues with confidence. As a female, older, non-religious, liberal therapist, she brings a perspective shaped by those identities.
Shari emphasizes treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and she tailors conversations and treatment plans to meet each person’s unique needs.
She regards relationships – both the one a person has with themselves and the ones they have with others – as central to well-being. Her approach includes examining how past stories may interfere with present life and identifying fears that influence future choices.
Shari views counseling as a chance to reconnect with oneself and with others, to attend to parts of life that are often ignored, and to pursue the life a person wants and deserves.
In her work she brings engagement, honesty, and authenticity, and she strives to understand what it is like to ‘walk in your shoes.’ She treats counseling as a team effort and recognizes the courage it takes to begin this work.
For many common concerns – such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, or major life transitions – online therapy can be just as effective as traditional in-person care.
One key advantage is flexibility. People can connect with a therapist in the way that fits their life – via video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging – which makes it easier to attend sessions regularly.
Therapists who offer online services are licensed professionals, and if someone feels another provider would be a better fit, it is generally possible to switch therapists at any time.
