Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I am a credentialed professional in the UK with three years of experience helping clients with relationship issues, family conflicts, coping with grief and loss, motivation, self-esteem, and confidence. I work to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgement. Taking the first step toward a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage, and I am here to support you in that process. I also have a deep awareness of cultural constraints and generational traumas carried through families.
Before becoming a qualified therapist, I had extensive experience working within the Urdu-speaking community. I use the language and its rich nuances to help you explore and understand your internal battles. I am fluent in spoken Urdu , however consider myself as intermediate or at a primary level when it comes to reading and writing.
I am also fluent in Punjabi , however do not read or write it. I am deeply familiar with the culture and traditions associated with the language. I understand the unique issues faced by people from the subcontinent, including the traumas of the past and how history has shaped the current challenges experienced by Punjabis. While traditions and customs can offer liberation, they can also be restrictive and hinder progress. Parental expectations and demands often create barriers to personal desires and autonomy.
I have experience working with clients from Asia and the Far East, where cultures are deeply rooted in religion and ancient traditions. These societies often emphasise collectivism and conformity, which can create complexities around autonomy, emotional expression, and psychological independence. I have supported many clients in navigating their thoughts and emotions while respecting the framework of their traditions and values.
Having been raised in a multicultural society where cultural influences are strong and sometimes dominating, I strive to create a safe and open space for you to explore and discuss your challenges with a deep cultural understanding and background.

Shabina Kauser is a credentialed professional in the United Kingdom with three years of experience supporting people through relationship difficulties, family conflicts, grief and loss, motivation challenges, low self-esteem, and confidence concerns. She aims to create an open, safe space where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgement and offers steady support for those taking the first courageous steps toward a more fulfilling life.
Before qualifying as a therapist she gained extensive experience working within the Urdu-speaking community, and she uses the nuances of spoken Urdu to help clients explore and understand internal struggles. She is fluent in spoken Urdu while reading and writing are at an intermediate or primary level. She is also fluent in spoken Punjabi but does not read or write that language, and she brings a deep familiarity with the cultural traditions linked to both languages.
Shabina has a strong awareness of cultural constraints and generational trauma carried through families, particularly among people from the subcontinent. She recognises how historical trauma, parental expectations, and customary practices can both liberate and restrict, and she helps clients navigate those tensions while honouring their values and backgrounds.
Her practice includes experience with clients from Asia and the Far East, where religion and long-standing traditions often shape collectivist expectations and norms around emotional expression and autonomy. Having been raised in a multicultural society, she is committed to offering a respectful, culturally informed space in which clients can explore their challenges and work toward greater psychological independence.
Shabina identifies as a female, Christian, liberal therapist of colour and provides therapy from her base in the United Kingdom.
