Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
I am a licensed professional counselor with over 13 years of experience working in the human services field. I earned my master’s degree in Counseling at Spring Arbor University. I have worked extensively with adolescents and adults that have experienced trauma, anxiety, and depression. My experience is varied and across many different settings, as I have provided group therapy and individual therapy in residential shelter programs, and community mental-health agencies. My focus in therapy is to meet my clients where they are at with acceptance and a non-judgmental attitude. I will use an approach that will work best to help my clients to work toward meeting their therapy goals. With my experience, I really believe that I can help adolescents and adults heal their relationships and work through the struggles they face. I am here to support my clients through their journey.
My counseling style is very warm, and compassionate. I believe in treating others with respect and allowing people to express themselves in whatever manner will help them to succeed. I feel that my role as a counselor is to help my clients help themselves to reach their goals. I will provide as much support necessary to ensure that whomever I am working with will understand that I care. I am open-minded, flexible, and always encourage client participation. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral and realistic problem-solving modalities.
I believe that we can work together collectively to help you achieve a more beneficial lifestyle. I look forward to working with you!
