Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Hi there! Thanks for taking the time to check out my profile. You have a lot of options and finding the right fit is so important. I am a Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed in Florida, with over 10 years of experience. You don’t have to be coupled or dealing with family issues for me to work with you, it simply means I have a unique perspective when it comes to my clients and what brought them to reach out to me.
I have worked with people who have a variety of reasons why they are seeking help, from growing pains, and relationship problems to substance use issues. My primary work has been with individuals and their families as they navigate the challenges of mental health issues (depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder) and substance use issues. My passion is assisting people to minimize the effects of these issues through learning coping strategies and then focus on building a balanced life that protects them from future crises.
I believe that each client I work with has their own strengths, ones that in the face of their problems have been overshadowed or buried. My role is to help you rediscover those and build up previously undiscovered strengths so that you can move forward into the life you dream.

Samantha Toney is a Marriage and Family Therapist licensed in Florida with 15 years of professional experience. Her training as an MFT gives her a perspective on relationships and systems, but she works with people in many different circumstances – clients do not need to be coupled or involved in family therapy to benefit from her approach.
She has supported individuals and families facing a range of concerns, from relationship and life transition challenges to substance use and mood disorders such as depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Her primary focus is helping people reduce the immediate impact of these difficulties by teaching practical coping strategies and then guiding them toward a more balanced life that lowers the risk of future crises.
Samantha views each person as having strengths that can become hidden by struggle, and she aims to help clients reconnect with those capacities and develop new ones. Her role is to walk alongside clients as they identify and build on those resources so they can move forward toward the life they want.
For many common concerns – such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, or major life transitions – online therapy can be as effective as in-person sessions. Research and clinical practice have shown that remote care often produces comparable benefits for these types of issues.
One major advantage of online therapy is flexibility. People can choose the mode of connection that fits their needs and comfort level – video sessions, phone conversations, live chat, or in-app messaging – which makes it easier to fit care into a busy schedule.
Another practical benefit is choice: licensed professionals provide the care, and clients may switch therapists if they decide another fit would work better. For many, the convenience and accessibility of remote sessions make it a practical and effective option for addressing everyday mental health and relationship concerns.
