Samantha Miller is an MBACP registered therapist in Humanistic counselling (Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) who aims to help people reconnect with their inherent sense of goodness and wholeness.
She works with clients whose difficulties are rooted in trauma as well as those experiencing more general low mood, helping to build a clearer understanding of who they are and what they need.
Samantha brings a genuine curiosity to sessions and gently reflects back what she notices as clients speak, a style that can be particularly useful for people who experience their belief system as rigid and who want to explore a broader view of themselves.
She holds a deep understanding of trauma, bereavement and the process of making sense of loss, and has experience supporting survivors of childhood sexual abuse. Her training draws on several schools of thought, which allows flexibility in approach so she can meet clients where they are on their journey.
Samantha has 5 years of clinical experience and is based in the United Kingdom. Please note she is currently offering daytime appointments only.
Many people wonder whether therapy delivered online can really help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties or adapting to life changes, evidence shows that online therapy can be as effective as traditional in-person work.
One of the main advantages is practical flexibility - clients can connect in the way that suits them best, whether that is video calls, phone sessions, live chat or in-app messaging. This range of options often makes it easier to fit therapy into a busy life.
Therapists offering online work are licensed professionals, and if a different fit is needed clients can switch to another therapist at any time.
