Sadie Renander is a licensed mental health practitioner who brings a decade of professional experience to her work with individuals, children, and families. She has provided services across residential, outpatient, in-home, and hospital settings, with much of her time focused on supporting children and families coping with trauma, abuse, relationship conflicts, depression, and anxiety.
She completed a Master of Science in Family and Youth Services with a clinical counseling emphasis in 2012 at Bellevue University in Bellevue, Nebraska. Sadie practices using cognitive behavioral therapy and Trust-Based Relational Intervention, and she adapts her approach to fit the needs of each person she sees.
Licensed to practice in both Missouri and Nebraska, Sadie holds the appropriate professional licenses in those states. Her therapeutic stance is person-centered: she begins by learning about each client and what will best help them reach their goals. Drawing on experience as both a client and a clinician, she emphasizes empathy and connection and treats therapy as a collaborative effort, working with clients to set measurable goals and make progress toward them.
For many common concerns—such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or navigating life changes—online therapy can be as effective as traditional in-person care. Research and clinical experience indicate that digital formats work well for these types of issues.
One major benefit of online therapy is flexibility. People can connect with a therapist in the format that fits their life best: video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. This flexibility often makes it easier to keep appointments and maintain continuity of care.
Therapy delivered online is provided by licensed professionals, and clients have the option to change therapists if they want a different fit. Online services can be a practical way to access consistent, professional support without sacrificing the therapeutic elements that help people make progress.
