I am a qualified integrative therapist and a member of or registered with BACP. I have over ten years of experience working as an integrative therapist, where I have had the opportunity to work with a variety of clients with different issues, from PTSD to depression, stress, anxiety, depression anger management, improving self-esteem, and self-confidence when dealing with bereavement or change in life circumstances. Trauma has been refugee/people trafficking, self-development, domestic violence, panic attacks, and transitions.
There are times in our lives when the challenges we experience can seem overwhelming. We may feel stuck, lonely, hopeless, lost or sad. Life can feel very difficult, with no sign of relief or source of support in sight. It is at this point that each of us must find our voice and reach out for therapy. It is those first courageous steps that will enable us to see that nothing is insurmountable and be able to move forward in a positive manner. By addressing the psychological and emotional obstacles that are making life difficult for us, we can begin the process of ‘breaking down’ those barriers until we reach a more fulfilling point in our lives. Counseling can help us by providing a safe, secure, confidential, and impartial space to explore our feelings and behavioural patterns that might be the causes of distress, therefore facilitating healthy and effective ways of making changes in our lives. Remember! No man/woman is an island. We all need someone at some point.
I am here to help you re-establish the balance in your life, enabling you to flourish. By supporting you in restoring and tapping into your inner strength and building up your resilience so that you can face life’s challenges. I will assist you in learning how to make empowering choices and to have control over your feelings, actions, and relationships so that you can achieve positive and hopefully lasting changes. I work in both short- and long-term counselling sessions with people who are seeking help to work through the challenges that are inhibiting their quality of life.
i look forward to working with you
