Robyn Thorsted is a licensed clinical mental health counselor in Utah who brings nine years of professional clinical experience alongside three decades of work with families in the community. She combines long-standing community involvement with focused therapeutic practice to support individuals and families navigating difficult times.
Robyn helps people manage grief and loss, parenting challenges, motivation and confidence, and the adjustments that come with life changes. Her areas of practice also include stress, anxiety, addictions, relationship and family conflicts, trauma and abuse, career difficulties, depression, compassion fatigue, and ADHD.
She approaches therapy with the conviction that each person is the expert of their own story and already possesses strengths to draw on. Robyn honors the courage it takes to seek a more fulfilling life and aims to empower clients as they take the first steps toward change. It is her privilege to offer support and encouragement throughout that journey.
Many people wonder whether remote counseling can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or navigating life changes, online therapy has been found to be comparable in effectiveness to traditional in-person care for most typical issues.
One major benefit is convenience and flexibility - clients can choose the mode of connection that feels most comfortable, whether that is a video call, a phone session, live chat, or messaging within an app. This flexibility often makes it easier to maintain consistent care alongside daily responsibilities.
All therapists are licensed professionals, and clients may switch providers at any time if they seek a different fit. For many people, online therapy offers an accessible and practical way to engage in meaningful therapeutic work.
