Holistic Jungian therapist specializing in trauma and relationships
Oh, hey there! Thank you for stopping by. My name is Robb and I have 20 years of helping people transform into their best selves.
My therapy style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don’t believe in stigmatizing labels. However, I do have a 10/3 rule: I give you 10 minutes after the session starts (unless you message me in advance that you will be late) and then I will have to consider this a missed session and after 3 missed appointments in a row, I will no longer be able to work with you. Thank you in advance for your understanding and cooperation regarding this matter. My approach is informed by my faith in Jesus and that Christ is the healer. For more on my understanding of this, please refer to this video on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/2u_1H9ZN3AE My main area of focus and interest is in identity (knowing and loving who you truly are). Although I was trained in Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (a form of CBT), I have found that our pain is a spiritual one and therefore requires a spiritual answer. I also help people in finding their true identity (who you are, not what you do).
It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards change. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and empower you.
I look forward to working with you!

Robert Ward is a licensed counselor in Louisiana with 21 years of experience helping people pursue healthier, more fulfilling lives. He offers a warm, interactive therapy style that emphasizes respect, sensitivity, and compassion while avoiding stigmatizing labels.
Robert maintains a clear attendance policy – a 10/3 rule – which means he allows 10 minutes after a session start time for late arrivals (unless he has been notified in advance) and will consider the appointment missed after that grace period. After three missed appointments in a row, he will no longer be able to continue working with the client.
His clinical approach is informed by his faith in Jesus and the belief that Christ is the healer; he has shared more about this perspective in a short YouTube video: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/2u_1H9ZN3AE. Though trained in Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy – a form of cognitive behavioral therapy – Robert often frames pain as having a spiritual dimension and integrates that understanding into treatment.
Robert focuses much of his work on identity – helping people discover who they truly are rather than defining themselves by what they do. He holds a Louisiana professional counseling license (LA LPC 4446) and works with concerns such as stress, anxiety, grief, self-esteem, depression, addictions, bipolar disorder, coping with life changes, compassion fatigue, and ADHD.
Seeking change takes courage, and Robert aims to support and empower those ready to take the first steps. He looks forward to working with individuals who are ready to pursue a more satisfying and balanced life.
Many people wonder whether sessions delivered remotely can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or navigating life changes, online therapy has been shown to be just as effective as traditional in-person care.
One major advantage is flexibility – clients can connect in the way that fits their schedule and comfort level, whether by video call, phone session, live chat, or in-app messaging. This variety makes it easier to incorporate therapy into daily life and maintain consistent progress.
Licensed professionals provide online services, and clients have the option to request a different therapist if they prefer a different fit. For many people, remote therapy offers a practical, effective route to support and growth without changing the core benefits of working with a trained therapist.
